You and your family will receive a personal tour of Butterflies LIVE! with one of Lewis Ginter's butterfly curators. Plus, see where the magic begins with a behind the scenes look at the Butterfly Emergence Room that is closed to the public. Earn your Summer of Flutter Badge!

Get your artwork on display at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden. During your next visit, go to the tickets desk in the Robins visitor center and give the attendant your completed coloring sheet.  Garden staff will hang them up for everyone to see in the Children's Garden! Please note that bringing your sheet to Lewis Ginter DOES NOT mean you are entered into the Summer of Flutter Coloring Contest. In order to register for the Summer of Flutter Coloring Contest you must register on TimesDispatch.com.

Are there prizes?

Yes! After uploading your butterfly coloring sheet, you will be registered to win one of six exclusive spots to be VIP for a day at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden. The prize includes a family four-pack of tickets to Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, a personal tour of the Butterflies LIVE! with the curator and behind closed doors access to the Butterfly Emergence Room. All prizes need to be redeemed by October 12th, 2014.

If you drop off your coloring sheet to Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden you will receive a button. All coloring sheets will be displayed in the Children's Garden.

Which grade do I have to be in, in order to participate?

The Summer for Flutter Coloring Contest is open to all children up through the 5th grade.  (Kids that will be in 5th grade during the 2014-2015 school year are eligible.)

How long do I have to enter?

Registration for the Summer for Flutter Coloring Contest runs July 7- August 31, 2014.
