Congratulations to all of our finalists! You all performed beautifully at the Bojangles Sing-Off on July 17 but after a tough decision made by the judges, Sophia Nadder was crowned our grand prize winner. Sophia will represent all of us here in Richmond when the Richmond Kickers welcome Barclay's English premier team to City Stadium on July 28.

"Hi, my name is Sophia Nadder. I would love the chance to sing for the
Richmond Kickers and Crystal Palace game because I think it would be a
great experience! It is really fun to sing for sports teams and I am a
big soccer fan:) I have several uncles and cousins that are in the
military, and it makes me proud to sing the National Anthem to honor
them and all that have served. It makes me happy to see my family and
everyone in the audience smile when I sing :)))"

"I might be only 10 years old, but I am mighty. I love to sing and play
soccer. I love to be in front of a big crowd. If I have the chance to
sing the National Anthem before the Kickers game, I will sing my heart

"Having been born and raised in Richmond Virginia, there is no greater
honor than getting to sing our National Anthem at home town events. This
is a fun opportunity to share my passion for singing with people from
Richmond and all over!"

"I am a 19 year old vocal music major at VCU arts from Chesterfield, VA
with big dreams of performing in the future. Singing has been my biggest
passion growing up with many experiences of group choral singing,
soloing, musicals, and even a few times the National Anthem at sporting
events and such. I would be beyond honored to be able to share my passion with a large crowd at such an important RVA event!"

The grand prize winner gets to sing the National Anthem at the historic match, Crystal Palace FC vs. Richmond Kickers on July 28 at City Stadium. They will also win an incredible prize pack from Bojangles which includes a $100 gift card, rolling cooler, beach towels, tervis tumblers, t-shirts, cozies, umbrella, trunk organizer and more!
